Heeeeeey friends! We’re already mid summer and it feels like time is FLYING by! Can you believe it’s already been 9 months since Soil & Stars was released?! It totally blows my mind. Things have been really going steady since the weather got warmer. My show schedule is filled and I’ve been putting crazy mileage on my trusty SUV. This year, we’ve expanded our base even further from Asheville, NC, traveling as far out as Raleigh and over state lines into Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina. I’m so thankful for all of you who have supported us through this process: buying t-shirts and posters, driving hours to see us, putting us up for the evening – we love you all and couldn’t thank you enough for your endless support of my music <3
With all this summer time fun-in-the-sun we’re having, I thought now would be a good time to share with you what’s coming up on the horizon for the rest of the year. There are some fall and winter rumblings already falling into place and I can’t WAIT to give them to you. First things first, we are rumored to be planning a short run of shows in COLORADO in November, so keep an eye out for date announcements on that. This will be my first time flying with my guitar, so needless to say I’m a little nervous! Stay tuned for updates.
Beyond the fall, I’m excited to announce that I’m now BACK in the studio with Good Flow Productions recording a CHRISTMAS EP for your holiday enjoyment! Every year, Jamie Leigh and I cook up a special Cello/Flute/Guitar Christmas show for the season. We’ve had so many people tell us how much they’d love a recording of our duets to take home with them. Well, this year – WE WILL DELIVER. We’ve picked out a few of our favs (and perhaps originals?!?) and are in the process of making them beautiful so we can drop them on you. I must say, recording Christmas tunes in July IS a little weird…
Don’t worry – I’ll keep you posted on all the things. It feels so good to be recording again, ya’ll! And TRAVELING with my music is pretty baller, too. Not gonna lie.
